Luxe Hotels welcomes the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa to its list of exclusive members.  Occupying an entire city block and encompassing 2 ½ acres, the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa is located in downtown Riverside, California.  The Inn began as a two-story adobe guesthouse in 1876.  In 1903, Frank Miller began to expand the original facilities, a process that took more than thirty years to complete.  The finished project incorporates design elements from throughout the southwestern US and several Mediterranean countries with a particular influence from the California missions.  The hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a State of California Historic Landmark.  Filled with more than seven million dollars of antiques and artifacts, the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa offers tours of the property through the Mission Inn Foundation that operates the on-property museum.
